RRB NTPC 2024 POST:

A. Under Graduate Posts with Minimum Educational Qualification of 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination and Age between 18 to 30 Years.

B. Graduate Posts with Minimum Educational Qualification of a University Degree or its equivalent and Age between 18 to 33 years.

    1. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT):

      • Purpose: To assess the candidate’s general knowledge, arithmetic, reasoning, and general science.

    2. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT):

    3. Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test:

      • Purpose: For posts that require typing or aptitude skills, this stage assesses the candidate’s proficiency in typing or their aptitude for job-specific tasks.
      • Format: Typing tests are conducted on a computer, while aptitude tests may include various types of problem-solving scenarios.
    4. Document Verification/Medical Examination:

      • Format: Candidates must present original documents for verification and undergo a medical examination as per the prescribed standards.

    Selection Process:

    • Candidates are selected based strictly on merit determined by their performance in the above stages of the recruitment process.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 of the marks are deducted for incorrect answers. Each correct answer earns 1 mark.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • General, EWS: 40% in CBT 1 and CBT 2
    • OBC, SC: 30% in CBT 1 and CBT 2
    • ST: 25% in CBT 1 and CBT 2
    • CBAT: Minimum T-score of 42 marks
  • Selection for CBT 2: 20 times the number of vacancies based on unique candidates from CBT 1
  • Normalization: Marks are normalized for CBT 1, CBT 2, and CBAT to ensure fairness across different test sessions.
