Required Skills & Qualification:

  • Minimum Qualification: Graduation (BE/ BTech/ MCA, MBA (IT/ Operations) preferred)
  • Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar industry.
  • Skills Required: Strong knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL, and a solid understanding of the Finance business.
  • Job Purpose: Responsible for daily fraud monitoring and tracking, and assisting the reporting manager in setting up processes with the objective of achieving zero fraud exposure.

Bajaj Finserv Recruitment Drive Responsibilities:​

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Responsibilities associated with the role)

  • Analytics for monitoring suspect transactions.
  • Reporting findings within set timelines to senior management.
  • Investigating and conducting Root Cause Analysis of fraud/dispute cases.
  • Analyzing Direct Fraud Trends and recommending actions to mitigate risks.
  • Minimizing fraud losses to ensure a healthy portfolio by overseeing the central RCU shop end-to-end.
  • Ensuring fraud loss metrics meet management targets.
  • Managing field fraud processes through coordination with the central lead team and field teams, ensuring cases are closed within the defined TAT and that field investigation reports are of high quality.
  • Reviewing and tracking location visits by location RCU Managers.
  • Supporting Field Teams with relevant triggers from central monitoring for investigation and tracking case closures.
  • Driving continuous improvement in RCU processes by collaborating with the centralized backend team to enhance fraud detection rates.
  • Ensuring seamless handholding for all Automation processes & RCU projects and continuously improving TAT.
  • Circulating error-free dashboards within the defined period.
  • Proposing changes and suggestions in credit policy-location-wise as needed.
  • Driving all internal processes to ensure timely reporting of suspected frauds and to catch fraud before loan disbursal, thereby minimizing fraud losses.

MAJOR CHALLENGES: (Ongoing challenges in the role)

  • Understanding various processes and preparing data reports/dashboards.
  • Preparing daily/weekly/monthly fraud monitoring reports to reduce fraud risks.
  • Coordinating with the RCU Field team (Rural + Urban) to ensure field investigations are completed within the defined timeframe.

  • Proposing new strategies for the field and HO teams to prevent malpractice.
  • Recommending system changes and daily reporting improvements to benefit the RCU unit.
  • Introducing new technologies or methods to enhance fraud control.

  • Risk Team: Collaborate to understand and align on policy changes and assess their impact.
  • Customer Service, Product, and Sales Teams: Engage to understand market challenges, fraud trends, or complaints related to fraud.
  • Business: Align on RCU controls that directly affect business processes, including cost, TAT, and Customer Experience.

External Clients:

  • Vendors & Channel Partners: Engage with Business channel partners on fraud awareness, providing training, and for investigative purposes.
